Prof. Daisuke Urushihara Joins the Institute for a Research Visit

Prof. Daisuke Urushihara, Assistant Professor at the Nagoya Institute of Technology, Japan, has joined the Functional Ceramics Research Group of the Institute of Glass and Ceramics for a 6-month research visit as part of the International Research and Training Group (GRK2495) “Energy Conversion Systems: From Materials to Devices”. He will be working on the electromechanical properties of single crystal Bi4Ti3O12, a layered aurivillius material with interesting ferroelectric properties.
