Kevin Rieß successfully defended his doctoral thesis on “Defect-modulated Electrical and Mechanical Properties of Sodium Bismuth Titanate”. His research was focused on understanding the influence of A-site non-stoichiometry on electromechanical properties in Bi-based lead-free ferroelectrics, where he developed a number of novel experimental setups to characterize macroscopic dielectric properties under varying atmospheres at elevated temperatures.

Congratulations, Kevin on a successful dissertation!
